Title: Take The Product
I tried to explain to Ally about how objects are transparent to certain wavelengths of light but opaque to others. I don't think she enjoyed the conversation as much as I did.
On another note:
altruism n. Instinctive cooperative behavior that is detrimental or without reproductive benefit to the individual but that contributes to the survival of the group to which the individual belongs; syn: selflessness
Amen.
I made some girls sitting at one of my tables today so damn happy. I just asked my colleagues where a nearby consignment shop is for them (Buffalo Exchange, corner of Walnut & 17th next to the now closed 7-11), and they appreciated that I went around asking for them so much more than I would have ever expected. It wasn't that big of a deal, but they made a huge one out of the gesture. They gave me a 50% tip. Then I gave a transient about $2 in loose pocket change that I would have never used for anything anyway. That guy was so surprised when I stopped after he asked if I had a spare dollar. Hell, dude, I have an extra $450 in my bank that I don't know what to do with, I think I can spare a dollar. It's amazing how some people are so receptive to other people's kindness, while others will continue being grumpy no matter how hard you try to lighten their mood.
I don't usually do this, but today's song is Come Downstairs and Say Hello by the one and only Guster. Listen to that shit. Be fucking happy.
And then there was nothing.

Dude, I feel lost in the world of Michael when I don't check your blog for two days like I did this weekend. Then it's all glorious because I have not one new post to read, but TWO!
