Crete:Greece

I think that if I had taken my time taking this photo, I could have gotten something pretty nice. I just quickly took two nearly identical shots and then went about my way.
Um...I don't know what to say. We didn't ever do much in Crete. It was a good time to relax because the town didn't offer much in the way of sightseeing or activities, there was a really nice pool at the hotel, and the beach was only 100 yards away down an alley (where I took this photo).
There were a ton of German families there. Every restaurant we went to, every umbrella along the beach, and every room at our hotel was occupied by a blonde German couple and their five blonde children (stupid Firefox doesn't recognize "blonde" as a word).
Speaking of blondes, there was a blonde crispy at the pool that defied all normal limitations to the human form.

Today was blogtastically successful. 6 posts, and now I'm only 13 behind. That's still a lame, huge number, but it's the smallest one I've had since around July 28th or so. If I'm able to pull off the last 5 of the trip in the next day or two, I'll be happy. Then it's back to regular boring posts (ha! as if these haven't been boring).
And just so you all know, Ally has started posting again! Yay.

Nice image. That's one to learn from. I guess these are bricks in the background, but, blurry as it is, it also looks like architecture from Quake II, and the red point, though most likely a point, could be a flag, Wonderfully surreal image.
