The Bold and The Beautiful
This is my brother Dustin, and he doesn't have turkey in his mouth like he did the first time you met him.
I don't take too many pictures of people, so I'm not used to human skin tones. For the photo below, it took 8 layers in photoshop for me to get the colors in his face to look right. At the last second, I decided to null all of those painstakingly adjusted layers and turned it into a b&w. Oh well. Flickr would have effed the colors back up like the did to the main picture today.
And then there was nothing.

I saw all of the pictures on M&D's computer. Nice work, yo.
Is it me, or does Dust look like a garden gnome?
Lovely pics.
=)
Mike,
When I saw you I critiqued the fact that you looked at senior portraits to try and get an idea of what people did...and I said that you shouldn't have...you should just go with what you do in a way that is virgin to existing ideas and blah blah blah dumb artist poop talk...
The last picture. Very unconventional for the 'senior portrait' style. And for that. bravo. I think its a winner.
P.S. Artist poop talk is not 'poopy' because of content...it's poopy because who the hell actually calls themselves an artist. Artist should just be synonymous with 'asshole'
what?
This comment is very quickly NOT making sense....
...because I am an artist.
