I stayed up waaaay too late last night. I wasn't even doing anything fun, just learning about a workout dance routine that will make it so that you never have do another crunch again!, and how if the blade ever dulls you get a replacement for free!

But wait, there's more....

I then woke up this morning feeling good and healthy and motivated. I was pissed at myself for wasting my night away, and then realized that my whole life now consists of those types of nights...all day long. Today was the day to turn that around. I saw some beautiful photographic opportunities when I looked out my window this morning, I saw some mountains that deserved to be hiked, and some dogs that would love to tag along.

But, instead I was called in to work, meaning that I didn't even have enough time to toast a bagel before I was out the door, and worked from about noon to seven. When you wake up at 11:30 because you stayed up waaaaay too late, that's pretty much your whole day. Gone. I therefore had to settle for a crappy picture today. Sorry. Note to self: 1 second long exposures should NOT be taken by hand. Tripod VERY necessary.

So much for motivation. It has been squelched, at least for now. I'm working the next three days, all day, each day.

At least I got my Saturday shift switched so that I have that night off.
