It's a little carved wooden statue at Cindy Carrillo's (Ally and AJ's mom) house. It's in front of a giant wall-mounted copper clock which nicely reflected the lights on the ceiling to create that "halo". Then, it also has a hole in it with another sheet of copper behind it that acts as the pendulum. That's where the black crescent came from.
