These were taken about 12 hours after the picture of the seals in yesterday's post, but in the same NZ day. We made it back to Christchurch for out last night in NZ, so AJ and I decided to live it up and went out to the bars, namely
those in SOL Square. The picture of the day is of Yellowcross from the balcony of Fat Eddies. Later in the night we actually made it into Yellowcross, had some home-brewed beers, and listened to these two girls sing the last song in their set.
These were the last pictures I took in New Zealand, thus concluding my trip posts. The next pictures I took were out of the airplane window at the snow coming down on DIA more than a day and a half later. But fear not, I never skipped a Boulder-timezone day of pictures. The above pictures were taken at about 5am Boulder time (1am-ish Chch time), and the DIA ones were taken at 5pm the following day.
I photoshopped these NZ pictures much less frivolously than I did the ones from Greece, and it therefore took me about a week longer. It, however, went much more smoothly for me. Despite wanting to throw my hands in the air and admit defeat numerous times, I'm glad I did it but I'll be happy to catch back up to present time. Posts of everyday boring life soon to come, I promise you that. And much more rapidly, too.
