Broski,

My amigo. The world is full of beauty, including your doggies. Monet had an entire series of pictures he painted of single subjects: hay bails, ugly scenes, and others. He just looked at the same thing, but at different times of the day, in different lights, different seasons, and with new eyes all the time. No gear will take a good picture, only a good photographer. And there is beauty in everything, even the small and insignificant, which is one thing I love about your pictures, and Ally's writings: they often concentrate on the very small, and man, they so often turn out so beautifully.
But alas, exploration does yeild extraordinary results. It just depends on what you consider exploration. And I assure you, it isn't limited to travel, challenging hikes, planes or road trips, or underwater equipment. Explore, but more importantly, Enjoy. Most important: play. Just play. Have fun, or else it's work. And work sucks.

OK, sorry, but I needed to put in my two cents. Use them well. We're in a recession here. Greedy bastard.
