Day 212

Love Myself Better Than You

I paid for a pro Flickr account today. It didn't tell me that I still have 98% of my upload space left for the month, and when I comment my name shows up as "rhymes_with_milk pro".

What other perks are there? I'm not quite sure yet.

You can, however, see my entire daily photo collection in one place now. For some reason, it shows me all 212 pictures on one page, hopefully for you it breaks it up into groups of 60 per page. If not, then I don't know how to change that and that's too bad for you.

The whole "one picture per day" thing is really pretty limiting. I want to keep that set pretty strictly to 365 pictures per year, but I feel like it's not entirely representative of the whole body of work I've accomplished so far. Some of my favorite pictures can't be included. And how often do you actually scroll through someone's entire photostream and not immediately just dive into the sets? I'm guessing that that set, my only set, is going to be assumed to be my cream-of-the-crop shit. You're probably not going to head over to page 17 expecting some of the best pictures I've taken, but that's exactly what you are going to find (subjectively, of course).

And unlike others, this daily photo project contains my entire current photography collection. It's not JUST practice for me. This isn't a means to an end.

This is it.

i actually rarely click on people's sets. i usually look at the first three to five pages. then i also like to go to their very last pages and look at a few pages going forwards because i like to see how people "got started" on flickr. buuuut, i'm weird. and my daily thing shows all the days at once too. broke ass shit. cool
