Title: By The Way That You Move
Long night. Crazy night.
It started at Hapa with the always lovely Ally, Jeanie, Billy B, Diane, and AJ. I was the only lush drinking hot sake. I like the stuff, and after I ordered, I found out nobody else does. At least I was happy.
Once the group disbanded, Billy and I went to the Red Fish to hang out with Boy Shannon. Apparently Kim works there now. Us four went to the Rio (briefly), then Old C's (cheaply), and then 11:30pm rolled around (early). I hadn't posted a picture yet for the day. Shit.
I ran down Canyon calling Mark to see if I could take a picture with his camera and post it via his computer before midnight. He didn't pick up. I ran up Broadway to Scott's house, knocked on his door, and panted in the hallway as nobody came to the door. Midnight goal: fail. I took a bunch of pictures earlier in the day, but for some reason I decided to post the above picture which was actually taken at about 1:23am on May 6th. I got home, and this was how I felt. I didn't think that pictures of the star magnets on our white board/calendar was fitting. So this is what you get. An LCD moving across a CCD.
After leaving Scott's place, I started to walk back towards home, then Mark texted me that he was at the bars. Have you ever joined a twosome and felt like you were intruding? But then you find out that you all grind your teeth in your sleep and then things go back to normal? Yeah, me neither...nevermind. Nice to meet you, LC.
Then the long walk home. The city crawls with a surprising amount of people in the deepest part of night. Campus was busy. There were about as many people meandering about as there would be on a typical Wednesday afternoon during class. Except there were no frisbeers.
And then there was nothing.
